I've considered getting a harmony remote but they are so expensive!

I didn't know that the Quantum remote only controls the TV & STB.

I tried an experiment yesterday. I used the TV remote to select the TV's speakers. I had to repeatedly push the volume button on the FIOS remote to change the TV's volume.
