Channel unavailable means the problem is a poor signal coming to you box. This could be anything from wiring, the box itself, or Verizon equipment. You should probably schedule a tech visit.

Is it all channels or only certain ones?If you have more than 1 STB, does it happen on all STBs?Have you tried checking cable connections?Start at ONT and verify that all connections are tight.
