I have a remedy that works for me. I cancelled all my favorites which totals only about 8 channels. I keep my ipad with me when I am watching TV. I list my favorites in the notes app of my ipad and when I want to go from channel to channel I just look at the channels on my ipad and key the in. It only takes an extra 5 seconds, plus it will kick Verizon in the behind for trying to push channels on us that we don’t want. It might not work for you but it works for me.

Same issue here using LG PZ750 and Yamaha RX-V471. When I turn the TV on using the Fios One remote both my TV and receiver turn on...and I can't control the volume using the TV, only the receiver. If I turn the receiver off, then manually program ONLY my TV...everything works as expected (reflected in the settings menu), and I can control the volume using my TV. If I turn the TV off...then turn it back on, the remote automatically programs itself for the TV and receiver (reflected in the settings menu) and both the TV and receiver turn on again, I'm back to square one, and I've lost the TV volume control...can only control it via the receiver. This is really annoying as I don't want to turn the receiver on unless I explicitly do so with the receiver remote, so I can control volume on the TV, not the receiver. I hope there's a way around this...

Can't connect to DVR from online or mobile app
I am unable to program/manage DVR online or via the smart phone app, and I consistently get the message that my DVR may be offline (error code 9-6-72-652-001 online and 9-6-24-652-001 on the app).
I have tried rebooting and power-cycling my DVR, and contacting support, to no avail. I was even told by support that I needed Enhanced DVR for this feature, but I believe this was inaccurate. Standard DVR features clearly states "Program and manage your DVR online or from your compatible smart phone."
Does anyone know a fix for this issues that does not require tech providing me with a new STB/DVR? My model is VMS1100.

TV randomly restarting when changing TV input to Fios - VMS1100
We recently switched back to Fios from Comcast. We are now experiencing an issue when changing the TV input back to the Fios input. The TV will briefly display whatever is playing on Fios at the time but then shuts the TV off. The TV will automatically reboot. It's annoying because it takes the TV about 20 seconds to restart. We never had this problem before with Comcast and Fios when we previously had it.
The TV is a Vizio XVT553SV.

But if you are using new FiOS TV One hardware and want to use the wireless feature, you have to use the FiOS gateway for that function.

You need to do initial control while connected to your home network.
Once your device is registered to your DVR, you should have control outside of your house.

Have you checked to see if there might be firmware updates for TV?
Does the TV have more than 1 HDMI input?
If so, have you tried another input?
Check to see if your TV has a setting for HDMI-CEC.
If so, set it to disabled.

Fios One and Slingbox
I just installed my new Fios One service. I have been with Fios since day one.
My question, does anyone know how to get it to work with Slingbox?
I have a slingbox 500 and cant find support for the arris ipc4100 STB when trying to set it up.
ARRIS IPC4100 is not listed in choices.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All channel audio not working [Looking for solutions]
My fios tv channels have no audio. Its not the tv that isn't working because youtube and netflix work just fine.
We tried flipping through the channels to assure it wasnt just one funky one. We made sure the mute button wasn't accidently on either.
Have anyone had this issue becuase and figured a way to fix it?

I've had this problem on and off for a couple years. Tech support has reset the unit several times, but the problem doesn't go away. MSNBC is the main channel I notice it on... but it has happened on others. I'm also considering going back to Charter; my neighbor is still on it and seems to have no complaints. FIOS is getting more and more expensive.

I want to watch on my laptop. I see no app for laptop viewing. FIOS TV online does not provide me access to view FIOS TV channels live online through FIOS. The only options are to record on DVR or go to each individual programming provider website.
How can I watch FIOS TV channels online (on laptop) without having to record them or having to go to every single individual channel URL link (outside of FIOS) fo view channels?
Seems like this would be a no brainer and a basic service.

The skip and replay functions are assigned to the left and right
‘dots’ around the OK button on the new remote. Same functionality as far as i can tell. Still getting used to the new remote and creating that ‘muscle memory’ in my fingers

Cruise Ship and Fios TV
I am going on a Norwegian Cruise next month, which offers unlimited Premium Internet Services. Supposedly it is good enough to stream services like NetFlix. Should it also be good enough to stream television channels from the Fios TV App?

While the NCL Unlimited Premium WiFi package does state that is is good for streaming, I have found that the speed is quite often too slow to allow for a good streaming experience, especially on the older ships.
What ship are you sailing on?
